Crowdcare, People Who Care

2015

This project was developed within a hackathon at the MIT Media Lab. Crowdcare is a platform and device that prevents asthma attacks and connects users with nearby people that can impact their life positively, so they never breath alone.

CrowdCare prevents asthma attacks and connects you with nearby people that can actually impact your life positively, so you never breathe alone. Building a community of people who care. Mapping out how the environment around us really affects our bodies.

Contribution and Role in the Project

Project developed with two more people. My role was to design the different scenarios and the interaction with the iPhone app and the device. I also developed a simple prototype with simple data analysis (getting the volume levels from the microphone) to show its capabilities. The other people in my team were focused on the business side and the fabrication of the device.
